What you’ll be doing:
- Assist with daily activities to help clients stay independent and in their own homes.
- Provide assistance with personal care.
- Assist with mobility, transfers and range of motion exercises.
- Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
- Provide clerical support to agency management and supervisory personnel.
- Answer inbound telephone calls.
- Assist with the hiring process for direct care staff.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and medical supplies.
- Assist with the billing process.
- Attend meetings, community and outreach events.
What we’re looking for:
- A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible
- High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate
- Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state and/or Agency requirements and in good repair. Good driving record
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a business setting, health care preferred
- Demonstrated ability to type at least 50 words per minute and familiarity with basic computer programs
- Demonstrated strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Speak, read, write, and comprehend English
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Current FL CNA licensure and AHCA Level II clearance
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
- Current yearly Physical with TB testing
